Home straight!!!!!

By |2019-02-24T00:10:51+00:0011 July 2015|Tour de Stade, Tours|

We came back to reality with a bump, as we returned to the Glasgow area, and Greenock Morton was the next stop. The ground, again like a few others, is not situated in the best of areas, and wasn’t the most enjoyable visit, especially as we never got into the ground! Like Firhill before it, [...]

Final day, home straight and finish line in sight! Today we had to tick off a couple Central belt grounds, before heading south and west, before finishing up in Glasgow again. Next up, was the Kingdom of Fife! Having spent some time in Dunfermline, playing football at the stadium, I was looking forward to going back. Tickets were getting sold for the up and coming play off games, so it was quite busy around the ground, but inside, again, were a couple of groundsmen, who let [...]

An incredible amount of preparation went into the the organising of this epic journey. Ian had spent weeks arranging with football grounds, gaining sponsorship, and co-ordinating all the partcipants to meet in Berwick, to stay the night before the start. Claire, Michelle, Ian, Lawrence and myself  hit the road. The Journey begins... We arrived in [...]
