We are blessed in Scotland to have such a wonderful capital city. From the imposing castle, the elegant George street, stunning Arthur’s seat, and that famous Leith sunshine, Edinburgh has it all.
I was very fortunate to spend 5 years studying and working in Edinburgh. I grew to love my adopted city, especially during the incredibly vibrant festival period, where I spent some time as a street performer piping.
The small compact nature of Edinburgh’s central area, around the old and new town, make for a very homely atmosphere, where you are rarely far from someone familiar.
