Munro Bagpiper in The News
Daily Record
Grant MacLeod, from Glasgow, has set out to hike to the summit of the 282 Munros – Scottish mountains with a summit of more than 3000ft.
On each peak, the 27-year-old kilted walker will play a tune on his bagpipes.”
West Highland Free Press
Grant MacLeod has set himself the challenge of climbing all of Scotland’s 282 peaks over 3,000ft and then playing a pipe tune on top, and has so far crossed 26 off the list.”
Celtic Life International
“I try to play something different on each summit,” he recently told Celtic Life International. “Something apt for the area or the day. For example, on a misty day I played The Mist Covered Mountains and on Ben Lomond, of course I played Loch Lomond.”

Grant, thank you so much for piping at our wedding.
It made my walk down the asile ever so special and brought many a tear to the guests.
Brilliant songs, both modern and all the classics were brilliant.

Just wanted to pass on our thanks and share in our experience of Grant who bagpiped at our Wedding on Valentines Day in Aberdeen.
I was thrilled at just how excellent he is. He certainly delivered with many guests complementing us all day about him; I really felt it made our Wedding.
I could not recommend Grant more for an event, especially a wedding, he made an incredible day even more special. Thanks so much again xx
This is a long overdue review but I wanted to thank Grant for his fantastic bag-piping at our wedding in Ireland. Bringing our Scottish and Irish contingents together, it was really special having Grant play such a key role in our big day. All of our guests loved the piping and had many special requests which Grant happily played for them. We had piping before the ceremony to welcome guests and the piece de la resistance for me was walking in to Highland Cathedral. Grant also played during the afternoon and posed for many pictures with us and also our guests, before leading us in for our reception meal. To round off our very special day, Grant also joined in with our ceilidh band which added a further Scottish twist to the entertainment! We can’t recommend Grant enough – if you want an excellent piper, who is talented, full of ideas and importantly very friendly, then choose the Munro Bagpiper!
Thanks so much again Grant & looking forward to seeing you in a couple of weeks’ time!
Emma & Raymond xx
